Many Hands Make Light Work!

Here are some fun snapshots sent by Terry and Jane from Memorial Day Weekend. What Park Valley weekend wouldn't be complete without a spring hailstorm!? Great Fun!  Also, big thanks to Terry's Family and Rulon's Family for all the hard work in cleaning the trailer, clearing the pond, mowing the lawn, pruning and moving wood, not to mention all kinds of other odds and ends.  As you can see everyone big and small contributed!  Thanks also to Grant Jr., who made it down just in time to lock everything up...  :)  :)  :)

Opening Weekend and Meeting Notes...

On May 9th we had our second meeting of the year.  Below are abridged notes from the meeting for everyone's information.  Terry and Jane are going to open the property on Memorial Day and there is another meeting tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 30 at 10:00 am.  Thanks to all for attending!  Look for more information in the form of a letter from Uncle Lael, and here on the blog.  Happy Summer Carter Family!

Spring 2009 Meeting...

Dear Family, 

HAPPY EASTER!!

We are planning on having the Spring Park Valley Meeting on May 9 at our home.  We want to start at 10:00 am.  We hopefully will have the LLC put together by then and would like to finalize the family schedule. We are also planning on opening up the property over Memorial Day Weekend.  If you have any input you would like to share, we hope you will be to the meeting.

We didn't get a lot of input as far as what we want included in the LLC.  We will be moving forward with the ideas that we had at the last meeting.  We hope you have all had a chance to look at the blog.  I am attaching some pictures of the pond for the benefit of all. (see above)

Happy (almost) Spring!  

No new information to update as of yet, but here is a copy of the meeting notes from our last family meeting. Also, look for some new great photos of Grandpa in the coming weeks!  What wonderful memories we all have of him and Park Valley!

Is it 2009 Already?

Happy New Year Carter Family!

On Saturday, January 31st 2009, Terry and Jane Jenkins hosted the first meeting of the new year. Thank You!

Those in attendance were, Eric and Grant Heaton, Arnie Carter, Rulon and Jeanne Carter, Uncle Lael and Aunt Rowena Carter, and Terry and Jane Jenkins.

Much was discussed, including financials, property maintenance, commitment level, and a possible LLC for the property.

The 2009 Schedule for each family has not been finalized yet, but there will be another meeting in April or May to firm up all the details for this year. We will post any information as we get it, so check back often!


Our hope is that this blog will keep you informed on all the events and information regarding the family property. If you have anything to report... news, or photos to post, whether for information, or for fun, email them to parkvalley@gmail.com!
